The Foreign Press Association (DBB) celebrated the 52nd anniversary of the founding of Türk Ajansı Kıbrıs (TAK).
The statement read:
“TAK, the voice of the Turkish Cypriot people since 1973, is among the most important institutions of our country’s press with its accurate and reliable journalism.
The responsibility it has taken on in ensuring the public’s access to sound information has made TAK a trusted reference source over the years.
All the managers and staff who have contributed from the past to the present, above all TAK Director Mr Fehmi Gürdallı, have a great share in this success.
We remember with mercy the press workers who contributed to the agency reaching this day and have passed away, and wish health and well-being to those still with us.
We wish Türk Ajansı Kıbrıs many more successful years.”
